Billington Supports Wates Community Day

At the end of September, Billington Structures took part in a football tournament organised as part of a Wates Construction community Day. The aim of the day was to raise money to support students from North Liverpool Academy travelling on their Aid of Africa Tour.

The Billington team, made up of Paul Hayes, Mike Butler, Glyn Bassindale, Gary Edwards and Mark Bingham finished the competition as quarter-finalists, and helped to raise £2,300 – enough to send two NLA students on the trip to Africa.

Billington Structures is the steelwork contractor on Wates’ project to build the new North Liverpool Academy campus.
