Billington Structures has recently completed its latest structures on the Quorum Business Park in Newcastle-upon-Tyne. Unit Q14 is a three-storey braced frame structure providing 3,700m2 of office space. At the end of 2008, we also completed work on the 324 space raised deck car park adjacent to unit Q10 on the park. This is a braced frame steel structure with precast concrete planks and Armco barriers.
Our first foray onto the park took place in 2002, when we fabricated and erected the steelwork for unit Q2, a four storey building providing 5,500 m2 of office space; the office is already occupied by HM Revenue and Customs.
