Billington Structures is putting the finishing touches to the structural steelwork for one of Edinburgh’s newest schools. Forrester High School and St Augustine’s High School are both being redeveloped. While the schools will retain separate teaching blocks, there will be a shared central communal area, sports hall and swimming pool.
The project has required the fabrication and erection of over 700 tonnes of steel over a period of 25 weeks. The two schools plan to relocate to their new premises by January 2010.
