Bovis Lend Lease Awards Dinner – Project SLAM award

Also at the Bovis Defence Awards Dinner in Birmingham on the 5th November, Billingtons, as part of the “Super Six” group received the ‘Incident and Injury Free Award’ for their contribution to Project SLAM which provides Single Living Accommodation to the armed forces.
The “Super Six” are the principle trade contractors who since Project SLAM began in 2003 have so far delivered over 13,000 bed spaces on Ministry of Defence bases throughout the UK.
Project SLAM is managed by Debut Services Ltd (DSL) a consortium led by Bovis Lend Lease and Babcock Services Ltd.
In addition to celebrating defence work success, the dinner raised £22,000 for the Help for Heroes charity.
