Finalist at the QIC Awards 2006 for 'Achievement through the use of IT'

Billington were a finalist at the Quality in Construction Awards 2006 for the 'Achievement through the use of IT' category.
At the Awards ceremony we were applauded for the development of BILMIS (our bespoke management information and document management system) which enables every detail of a project and the necessary information to be accessed through one portal from every desktop or laptop in our offices and on site.
We were also complimented on the continual development of our computer modelling capability. Designers and engineers appreciate these capabilities, which often gives us the edge over competitors.
Judges' comments included, "Billington sets a wonderful example of sustained commitment to innovation in its approach to IT".
